The
Chapter
We
are a community of Realtors® and affiliates dedicated to the mission and
values of Women’s Council of Realtors® (WCR). Our chapter is one of the
largest in the state of Florida and in the largest classification
nationally.
For
Realtors®, lenders, title insurance providers and more, WCR means belonging
to a group of peers that are the most dynamic and successful in the
industry. For the public, to know that the people and companies you do
business with are a member of WCR provides assurances that they are
professionals that uphold the highest standards of the profession.
The
chapter has a high profile in the community, boasting membership that
includes the top producers in the industry. WCR members are a caring group of individuals who give back to the
community that supports them. The members are involved in the March of
Dimes, the Heart Association, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life,
as well as local events in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port and
Southwest Florida.
The
chapter provides high caliber educational programs for its’ members,
programs for the membership as a whole and scholarship programs for those
looking to achieve designations such as LTG (Leadership Training
Graduate), GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute), CRS ( Certified Residential
Specialist) and others. Annual fund raising events, including an annual
Chinese auction that draws over 400 guests, are how the chapter provides
funding for education and leadership development.
